The minimum charge applies even if the appliance can't be repaired: it covers the Hero's time, travel and fault finding.

Pick a time and the hours you need. You only pay for the time actually worked: at least the listed minimum, then per started half hour, and booked time that is not used is refunded. Need more time or materials? Your Hero asks first, and nothing is added until you approve it in the app.
